Build Your Body to Match Your Wit and Charm! You know you're tired of being the smallest guy in the room, or feeling intimidated whenever you arrive at a party. All those big, strong-looking guys you see didn't get to be that way over night, and there's no reason in the world you can't make yourself look just like they do.

Men like Ricky Terro once felt exactly the same way you do. He was just as sick of feeling overshadowed as you are, and he decided to do something about it. He started lifting weights and change his diet. As you can see, it took him less than a year to blow his arm muscles up to epic proportions! He could give any college jock a run for their money. If he can do it, there's no reason in the world why you can't do the same thing.

Once you're there, it's time for step 2. becoming a Campus Man is a way to give yourself a one up over all those other jocks. It'll be sure to impress the girls, and make you feel like more of a man than ever before.

There's a lot of conflict among the experts about how best to go about building muscle effectively. They'll argue about different weights, the number of reps, the number of calories you should be eating, and a host of other points of contention. The most important thing is that you're actually working, and not just reading about working. The more time you spend in the gym trying things out, the less time it will take to find something that's going to work in helping you make a complete transformation for yourself.

You're pretty fortunate to be living in this day and age. With all the resources you have at your fingertips, it's easy to learn about nearly any topic. Bodybuilding is no different, and here are a few of the most popular lessons, published by the experts of iron pumping.

Books on Weight Training Tips

Scrawny to Brawny: The Complete Guide to Building Muscle the Natural Way $12.10  Everyone's body reacts to things in different ways. The authors of this guide understand how difficult it might be to become bigger if you're what's known as a "hard gainer." If you're naturally skinny, with a fast metabolism, then there may be some extra steps you need to take to pack on the same muscle as other people. If you're lifting heavy several days a week, eating like a horse, and still can't seem to pack on any bulk, this guide to natural muscle gain may be perfect for you. It's possible, using this guide, to work along with your body (rather than against it) to attain your goals. Their system has helped thousands of people overcome their bodybuilding plateaus, and enhance their physiques to levels they never thought possible!

Some Weight-Training Tips You Will Learn in These Recommended Books or DVDs

The fitness packages you see listed here will teach you a lot. It will be enough material to keep you focused on making progress for a long time, especially if you're new to fitness. But if you're a veteran lifter, or if you're just looking for something to add an extra degree of difficulty to the workouts you already do several times a week, here are a few tricks.

Partial Reps are going to go against some of what the expert material above has taught you. They're going to feel a bit weird, and you're probably going to want to have a spotter in place for safety's sake. Try this out on squats. Partial reps are done using a particularly heavy weight, maybe 15-20% heavier than what you normally do a full set of squats with. Do reps only in the top 1/4th or so of what a full rep would be (in other words, the lockout stage). Even though you're not going through the full motion, your legs are receiving a huge shock just trying to handle a heavier weight they're not used to.

Pyramiding will have you doing reps as you normally would, just with a different set structure. These might be perfect for cable pull downs, for your triceps. You'll be doing five sets. The first set will be normal, and with each one you'll be upping your weight until your third set is so heavy you can't do more than 5 reps. For the forth and fifth sets, decrease the weight in the same way, until you're back where you started. That fifth set is going to hurt.

Burnouts are as painful as they sound, unfortunately. A lot of guys like these for their biceps. Start with a weight you can do 20 reps with. After those first 20, remove 5 pounds and immediately continue. Remove 5 more, and repeat until the weight is down to 20 pounds. This is great for muscular endurance, and will give your arms a crazy pumped up feeling.

Understand Weight-Training Tips By Knowing Muscle Group Names

When being introduced to new exercise names and different muscle groups, you can save a lot of time and confusion by learning the basics of anatomy. Just the basics. This will help you in ways you may not consider. Some guys take forever to know the different names of muscles and make mistakes such as performing exercises intended for the wrong muscle group. Choose one of the two products below - a poster or a book/manual. These can be of great help for a beginner!

Although there are cheaper posters available, we highly recommended spending a little more for the Fitnus Male Exercise/Muscle Guide $21.99. This laminated poster shows you a lot more than the names of the muscle groups. It also lists the most popular exercises for each muscle group. This can be of great help for a beginner trying to memorize all of the numerous exercises and how which muscle group they help. There is another bonus to having this poster on your wall. Girls will see it and take an interest in your transformation. If girls walk into your apartment or dorm, they will definitely ask about this poster! What a great chance to get to take your shirt off to show them your gains!

If you want something you can carry with you, or you are the type of guy who wants more details, order Strength Training Anatomy $14.93. Strength Training Anatomy offers detailed illustrations about your muscles! This book is not a lot of lengthly text. This manual is very easy it is to follow. This book also depicts exactly how you should be doing exercises to properly work each muscle - this avoid "cheating on form" (also called "bad form") - which is common in beginners.

Weight Training at Home

Maybe you're a "self made man" type of guy. You want to do bodybuilding on your own terms, in your own time, and on your own terms. You already know you can get good results outside of the gym, and maybe you're looking for something to help you get there a little faster. We've got the perfect thing.

Lifting straps - You use these for many pulling exercises. Buy the Schiek Sports Schiek Lifting Strap Long $19.95. Weight belt - Buy the Valeo VRL 6-Inch Padded Leather Belt for only $15.50. Weight belts are essential if you want to save your lower back from injury during heavy squatting or dead lifts.
